Da Pancrazio — Eat Pray Love (2010)

Nearby, in Piazza del Biscione, Da Pancrazio is among the film’s Roman locations. The twist? Its lower rooms rise over the remains of the Theatre of Pompey, from the 1st century BC — the very theatre where, according to historical tradition, Julius Caesar was killed: you dine literally inside Rome’s history.

La Veranda of Hotel Columbus — The Great Beauty (2013)

Beneath the Renaissance frescoes of Palazzo della Rovere, near the Vatican, Paolo Sorrentino set one of the most elegant dinners of his 2014 Oscar-winning film, with Jep Gambardella (Toni Servillo) and Ramona.
